Questions, answered properly
Including the awkward ones. If something you need is not here, ask us and we will add it.
The product
Does this replace Yoast or Rank Math, or run alongside them?
It replaces them. SuperSeoAI owns your title tags, meta descriptions, canonicals, robots tags, schema, sitemaps, breadcrumbs and redirects. Running two SEO plugins means two sets of tags fighting each other, so import your data with the built-in importer, check the preview, then deactivate the other one.
What if it breaks my site?
There is a single master switch that hands the entire head section back to WordPress, so if the output layer ever misbehaves you can turn it off in one click without deactivating anything. Beyond that: generated content is ordinary WordPress content, nothing is stored in a proprietary format, and deactivating the plugin leaves your posts and pages exactly as they were.
Do I need to know SEO?
No. Every check explains what is wrong and why it matters in plain English before it offers to fix it. If you would rather not think about any of it, the managed service exists for exactly that.
Does it work on any WordPress site?
Any self-hosted WordPress site on PHP 8.0 or newer, which is most of them. It is single-site for now. Multisite is not supported, and we would rather say that than have you find out after installing.
AI, Google, and the obvious worry
Will AI-generated pages get my site penalised?
Google’s stated position is that it rewards helpful content and acts against low-value content produced mainly to manipulate rankings, regardless of whether a human or a machine typed it. So the question is not "was AI involved" but "is the page any good".
That is why the plugin is built the way it is: you approve every outline, near-duplicate keywords are refused before anything is written, nothing publishes itself, and the scoring engine will tell you when a page is thin. Used carelessly, any tool of this kind will hurt you. This one makes carelessness harder.
Does it copy my competitors’ content?
No. Two separate things happen here and it is worth keeping them apart. Analysing a competing page is pure code running on your own server: we fetch the page, parse it and score it with the same engine we use on your own pages. No model is involved at any point, and nothing is uploaded to us.
If you then ask AI to draft something informed by that analysis, what it receives is the structure: the heading outline, the word counts, and which terms appear how often. Not their sentences. So there is no route by which a competitor’s prose reaches your draft, because it never enters the part of the system that writes.
Which AI models does it use?
Anthropic, OpenAI or Google Gemini. Your account, your choice, and you can route different tasks to different models. Spend on the article, economise on the outline. Any model ID is accepted, so a new release does not require an update from us.
Money
What does it actually cost to run?
Two separate things. Ours is the subscription on the pricing page. The AI usage is billed by your provider directly to you, with no markup from us, and in practice a fully optimized 700-word article costs around six cents in API credit. The plugin shows projected cost before a batch runs and logs every call, so you are never surprised.
Why bring my own API key instead of you handling it?
Because it keeps the price honest. If we resold tokens we would have to price for the heaviest user, which means light users subsidise heavy ones. This way you pay for exactly what you use, at cost, and we charge for the software. We may add a managed-credits option later for people who would rather not deal with a provider account, but it will be a choice rather than the only option.
Can I cancel, and what happens if I do?
Cancel any time. Everything the plugin created stays on your site: posts, pages, titles, descriptions, redirects, all ordinary WordPress data. Nothing gets set to noindex, nothing is held hostage, and the free edition keeps working. We would rather you left able to speak well of us.
Is there a refund?
Thirty days, in full, no questions and no exit interview. See the refund policy for the detail.
Working with us
Who is behind this?
A small team split between California and Ukraine, building websites and working on organic search since the early 2000s. Support comes from the people who wrote the code, so answers are quick and nothing gets lost behind a tier-one script. More about us here.
What does “early access” mean in practice?
The plugin is built and tested, with around a thousand automated tests, and is being finished rather than started. Early access means founding pricing locked for life, a direct line to the team building it, and genuine influence over what gets built next. It also means you will occasionally find a rough edge before we do.
How do I get support?
Email, and it reaches a person rather than a queue. During launch we answer within one business day; if we ever cannot hold that, we will say so on this page rather than quietly missing it.
What it costs
Founding prices, locked for life.
Still have a question?
Ask it directly. You will get an answer from the people who build it.
